Romford is hardly one of the country's cultural hubs but we have a library and it still has some books! Pity it is an ugly concrete lump that looks as if it could do with a clean.

Well, unfortunately there are loads of city centres in Sweden housing libraries looking a lot like this one. Or - "unfortunately", it's not THAT bad really. Could be worse.
Any library is a good library. The one nearest me was built only two years ago and is a strikingly handsome bit of architecture, but for those of us who go there for the books, I suppose that doesn't matter all that much.

Indeed.. there could be no library I suppose...
